La Game Developer Conference 2017 ha escogido a Overwatch, como el mejor juego del pasado año, superando en las votaciones a grandes títulos como Uncharted 4 o Dishonored 2, al igual que ocurrió en la gala de The Game Awards. Además el título de Blizzard se ha llevado también el premios a Mejor Diseño. En otras categorías destaca el premio a la Innovación obtenido por No Man's Sky, sobretodo por las abultadas críticas recibidas.
